Prefabricados Delta is supplying the piping for the irrigation modernization project in sector 1-B of the Irrigation Community in the Ribera Alta del Porma area (León). The company is currently supplying 12 kilometers of DN1600 post-tensioned concrete pipes with a pressure rating of 2.5 to 6 atm, with a sleeve and double elastic joint.

The project covers an area of 4,608 hectares, with the contribution of 2,436 owners and 7,854 plots, and aims to implement more modern and efficient irrigation technologies in the area.

The project is financed by contributions from the Regional Government of Castile and León and European funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), in addition to contributions from the irrigation communities themselves.

With the development of this infrastructure, Prefabricados Delta continues to lead the Spanish market in the supply of post-tensioned concrete pipes with double elastic joints.
