Prefabricados Delta welcomed a visit from Brazil's Ministry of Integration and Regional Development to its factory in Puente Genil (Córdoba), continuing its commitment to being the leading company in the sector and bringing its value and innovation to bear in response to new social needs, both nationally and internationally.
The members of the Brazilian ministry were accompanied by representatives from the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA), the Spanish Association of Irrigation and Drainage (AERYD) and the University of Córdoba (UCO).
The visit, which was part of Brazil's interest in learning about cutting-edge industrial models and sustainable technologies, allowed government representatives to tour our facilities and see first-hand our production process for prestressed concrete pipes with sheet metal jackets and double elastic joints, a high-value construction element in water conveyance networks for irrigated farming.
Promoting regional development and innovation
During the meeting, the Brazilian delegates, as well as representatives from MAPA, AERYD and the University of Córdoba, were able to exchange views with the management team of Prefabricados Delta on the great importance of proper water management in both countries.
In his welcome speech, Juan Pablo Guerrero, Managing Director of Prefabricados Delta, said: ‘It is an honour for Prefabricados Delta to share our experience with such a high-level delegation. Brazil is a very important market, and this visit reaffirms our commitment to collaborating in the development of innovative solutions that strengthen water management and contribute to regional progress.’
